Somalia’s Minister for finance in Washington DC for World Bank and IMF conference
The Somali Minister for finance honorable Mohamed Aden Ibrahim aka “Fargeeti” and a delegation he is spearheading have attended the World Bank and IMF annual conference in Washington DC
This conference is attended by representatives from world, and it is basically about the challenges which the world economy is facing, how to support the countries with less economics, to investment in their countries and to offer them loans.
Minister Fargeeti has enlightened the current economic situation in Somalia, and the amount of credit which Somalia owes the world and it can be pardoned.
“This is an annual meeting, and very fortunately this conference coincides at a time when the IMF and the Somali government have jointly signed on an agreement in which the World Bank and IMF will pardon the loans which Somalia owes them” said honorable Fargeeti
In addition to that Minister Fargeeti has said that he met with the senior top ranking officials of the World Bank and IMF, and from here the Nairobi agreement will be accomplished.
Finally the Somali Minister for finance has been lately engaged in enhancing the financial projects in the country, so that the Somali people and the international will have confidence in the country’s income economics
